White Rice: White rice is the basic type of rice which is liked by almost all people. White rice is the most used rice among all the types of rice. It is the name given to milled rice. It is the rice from which the husk, bran and germs layer has been removed.

Parboiled Rice: Parboiled rice falls between white rice and brown rice. This Indian rice partially boiled in the husk, which improved the nutritional values. This rice is soaked, steamed and dried. It is little dark in colour than white rice.

Wild Rice

Wild Rice: It is not actually the member of rice family but this is the type of grass that looks like rice. This rice is difficult to grow commercially. Wild rice also grows in water but it need deep water resources.

Aromatic RiceAromatic Rice: This rice ranging from medium to long grain rice. There are many different varieties which include basmati rice and jasmine rice. It adds a different aroma and flavor to the meal.
